Yeah, it is. What I'm saying is, as a standalone machine, it's quite poor. If you can afford a Wii U +PS4/Xbone, then that's fantastic. You get the Nintendo first party stuff, along with all the multiplats and MS/Sony exclusives.
Nintendo reallty do need to make something more normal* though. They've lived off nothing but first part games since the Gamecube, with very little in the way of third party or multiplat support, which SHOULD change. They can have a regular console, with a regular controller, and still get most of the stuff MS and Sony get. It's OK to do that, they don't have to be the LE GIMMICKY MARIO MACHINE anymore. It's fine to conform a little bit.

He still mostly wants to play Minecraft, and Minecraft is NOT on the WiiU.
For a system focused on younger kids, it's strange that they do not have the title that the majority of younger kids play.
Still playing on my wii u much more than on pc. I also have to grab Yoshi, Hyrule Warriors and Xenoblade X. I've had nothing else than pure enjoyment on this dedicated gaming system.
