I came into World of Warcraft expecting Exploration, Friendships and great wars.
...And that's exactly what I had Anon. I used to have a Shaman in Vanilla, used to explore everything especially with Far Sight, used to be in one of the best guild, used to be one of the most valuable class around, used to make friends on every dungeons I went through and on top of that: Used to have fun.
Vanilla was the most fun of them all because of all the wars you had back in Stranglethorn and Taren Mill, all the travels set by people to reach X like Hyjal or other interesting locations and almost every guilds came together to raids towns no matter how low their levels was.
And when they decided to add flying mounts, cross-realm instant dungeons queues everywhere across the world, nerf the fuck out of every single class, and wreck the talents points away, remove all the fun skills and abilities of your class and even get rid of stuff that was just plain fun to use.
My own main is a broken shell of what he used to be, more than half of his totems are gone, several abilities are taken off, Far sight is rendered unusable because changing zone with it is impossible due to cross-realm, Enhancement is a fucking joke now and everything that used to make him good got cut.

The problem is that the big three series that drew people in initially, Warcraft, Diablo, Starcraft, those are basically done
Warcraft has WoW, which is winding down (slowly)
Starcraft 2 finally has all 3 parts out, and from what I heard there no sequel hook, it looks like its finished
Diablo 3 went over like a dry fart, even with Reaper of Souls.
Can Hearthstone and Overwatch really draw people in like their previous games? I dont think they can, they lack that essential "WOAH" factor that Wow, Diablo, and Starcraft had.
Nothing seems particularly new or unique about their new stuff, Overwatch is TF2 with some ASSFAGGOTS characters thrown in, and Hearthstone is just a card game. It just feels really "safe", like a dude in a suit figured this was the best way to make cash, so their doing this, rather than just making what felt cool or fun.

Overwatch can be fun but you need to be drawn in.
Like, I couldn't give a single fuck about the entire game before watching TB's video and the enthusiasm more or less got to me as well.
Warcraft 4 would be utter shit even if it happened, so what they really need to do is come up with a new RTS IP and such.
They never did anything interesting past WC3 and maybe, MAYBE SC2
