Show me your technique.
Is there a miracle solution than I don't know of ?
Sandpaper works really well, anon. Just rub it really gently in circles then brush off the powder it leaves behind. Basically good as new.

Yeskeep your cd's to yourself
I ejaculate on my scratched CDs it's good for filling the scratches and adds an extra layer of protection.

A sad thing happened to me with my Dragon's Dogma cd...
> Got this crazy uncle
> Literraly crazy like there's something wrong with his brain
> He freaks out one time
> Tell him he can rest in my room
> I got outside an hour after that
> When I walk across the street, I see some CD on the road
> Pick the CDs up
> My fucking games
> I look at the window of my bedroom
> Crazy uncle looking me dead in the eyes
I was stupid to let him alone in a room full of things I love.
>>318162456
Not using technology which belongs into museums would be a start.
Spray Axe on it
Optical discs are so last decade. Literally no reason to exist any more
>>318163598
>I was stupid to let him alone in a room full of things I love.was it tough to fit him trough the window?
Beside, serves your right fornot having a PS3, bluray is indestructible, you can try and scratch them with knife but you onlydie tired.
The tooth paste thing worked for me if the scratches weren't too deep.
>>318164023
That's a PS3 game...
>>318164173
>That's a PS3 game...
Now go to his room and throw away hisWiiU
>>318164814
Arf; I love him cause his craziness is making him say some funny shit sometimes and he's family.
But fuck, I had probably 50 games at the time and he had to threw the one I spent hundreds of hours in...
>>318162456
Just leave it in a bowl filled with bleach and ammonia for a night. Worked for me ;)
>>318165178
>fell for the loving muh family meme
Only family you should care about are brothers and sisters + mother and father
>>318165238
Dont call his uncle "it", have some respect!
>>318162456
>disks
>cd's at that
How does it feel living 10 years ago?
Seriously.
>>318165570
Well it's a bluray but I call them CD. Like everyone in Europe in fact.
I never heard someone say ''Where's the x bluray ?''
>>318162456
Its called an iso son
Look it up
>back in the good old days of early xbox 360
>playing halo 3, whatever, have my xbox vertical on the living room floor cuse it looks fucking cool
>dad walks over to grab something
>knocks the 360 over
>ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRHG
>now I have a halo shaped scratch on my disc
>effectively removes single player but can play online just fine
mmmm. them good old days.
>>318162456
Mix toothpaste, Brasso, car wax and peanut butter into a bowl, rub the disc with a banana and submerge it in the bowl. Let it sit for six hours and then rinse with water and dry thoroughly. It should be good as new.
>>318165896
Man I love kangaroos, japan sure is awesome.
Here are some Australian butterflies.
It's too late, Apply felt and turn it into a drink coaster. original idea DO NOT STEAL
>>318166229
That's a bear, not a kangaroo.
>>318165729
>Like everyone in Europe in fact.
So you've been in whole europe then. Because I could've sworn we called them DVD's, CD's, floppies or just you know disks.
>>318166319
No man, thats a bear.
>>318165178
Not like the save data is saved on the disc. Sucks that he did it and all but if it's just the disc, then no harm done. Unless it did got scratched up, then it's just like what $15?
>>318166321
I really meant to say disk. I swear.
But in every country where people speak french, they also say cd.
"Trouve moi le CD de Dragon's Dogma"
>>318166620
Voulez vous coucher avec moi
>>318166620
I know what you speaking about brother, worry not soon everyone will recognise the superior form "Trouve moi le allah CD de ackbar Dragon's Dogma"
>>318166620
what the hell is that, terrorism speak
I will allow no terrorism on my /v/, get out if you know what's good for ya
>>318166758
Nah, that's not the correct form. A better way to put it is "Wallah trouve-moi le CD de Dragon's Dogma sale kelb". Much more realistic.
>>318166620
Je suis monté!
>>318166597
I know but still, it'll be the third time that I buy this game.
I bought the Vanilla version and the Dark Arisen one.
>>318166758
> mfw I'm muslim
>>318167045
Almost there, right after this you have to announce your offence at the fact him being "sale kelb"
Cant let that racism being thrown in your face, amiright
>>318167174
>muslim
Forchin shruggs in terror as another CD *scratch that* Disc bomb was found in front of one of the apartments in France earlier this night.
OP terrorist already admitted his terrorist crazy uncle being behind the attack.
Meanwhile US is paralysed by racism, sexism, homophobia and pedohpobia as billions of terrified multicultural citizens of various religious faiths and beliefs remain hidden in their safe spaces out of fear for their ideology.
In other news, ruskies still fight terrorism, oil prices all around the world went up since another cheap source just got bombed, RT claims those were ISIS but they lie as always and everybody knows that amiright.
>>318163598
That's fucked up man.
>ctrl F
>no toilet
take your cd. place is scratchy side down in the toilet (clean and flushed). then flush it
Its too big to be flushed down and it used to work for my ps1 games.
>>318167051
Triggered.
>>318162456
No, anytime you scratch a CD you're literally destroying huge amounts of data in various places
Stop using ancient fucking tech
>>318169528
>literally destroying huge amounts of data in various places
BS, you only destroy it if you scratch the silver part, if you scratch transparent plastic which is something to hold the silver piece together, you wont lose anything.
You can just unstick silver part and glue it to another CD, good as new.
>>318162456
Aside from all the shitposting in this thread I remember having some kind of mildly corrosive liquid which basically made the disk thinner but got rid of the scratches. This was during the PS1 era but it worked like a charm. Nowadays I just handle my games with care
Sorry dude, it's fucked. Hope it wasn't a rare game.
>>318169871
Depends on the CD and if it has that plastic coating. PS1 era discs have no coating afaik
And chances are a lot of scratches will be deep enough anyway to fuck up the data layer
>>318162568
1000+ grit might actually work, just make sure you apply lots of water
Take it to a library they usually have a machine to fix it in some way
>>318172794
You must be murican, you would waterboard even fucking CD's...
>>318172991
look up wet sanding
>>318170130
Yeah, it's not as much of an issue these days since most stuff is on BRs and scratching them beyond function is a lot harder.
>>318166319
>>318166591
This is a bear
>>318173391
Whats he doing on that guy chin?
>>318162456
Pledge works like a charm. Just not one with a stain in it oe anything, but plain old lemon Pledge.
Not kidding or shitposting. I used it countless times on CDs that wouldn't work and it fixed them.
>>318162456
Banana or toothpaste, OP.
>>318162456
Soap worked everytime for me OP, like fucking magic.
