Every race can be any class.
You need to beat the main story of ARR first to unlock dark knight though.

The class follows a 1, 2, 3 combo rotation but that combo is proc based. In order to guarantee a full combo you need a 60 second cooldown (reload) or you get lucky and use your 15 second cooldown (quick reload) to extend it.
It's big damage cooldown is on a 90 second timer so it doesn't like up with the reload
Reload is on a timer when it should be a permanent buff like Aetherflow
The class has all the problems that 2.0 SMN had in that it's entirely burst based with that RNG combo system to muck up the works further.
