The non XL american New 3DS happy home bundle is only 179 at walmart online right now.
Should I get this now? I dont think this model will get this good a sale again

I went ahead and got it. At this point, I doubt they release the small 3DS over here in the US separately. If they were, the last Direct would've been perfect. Even if they did, it'd probably cost like 170 bucks just for the single 3DS. 179 + cashback from my credit card, fuck it, I pulled the trigger.

Paying 25 dollars for 1 set of face plates you like isn't too bad. It's not a collect-a-thon like it is with amiibos so paying a little more for one nice set of face plates could be worse. At this point I am just glad we have the smaller New 3DS at all. I wish NoA would stop being stupid though.
