Why was this?
Asian people have absolutely nothing against Faith's face. The vocal minority, and the only group that actually matters sales-wise since they have all of the expendable cash, hate anything that doesn't conform to their ideal. Faith actually looks somewhat human and doesn't have a face made up of 50% plastic unlike their harem anime girls. They do not like deviation from the standard. The most realistic your artstyle can be while still appealing to dirty neckbearded otaku would be Nomura-Tier. Pic related.
