>How do I play?
1.- Download and extract www.mediafire.com/download/35cct9gh28jc9qa/
2.- Double click mednafen.bat
or just drag and drop "aw2.gba" into "mednafen.exe"
3.- Press Alt + Shift + 1 to setup your controls. (At every unique button prompt, press the key you want to assign it to TWICE so it moves on towards the next button).
4.- To connect to an active server, press T to type /server IP PORT or /connect IP PORT
5.- So we can tell you apart, press T to type /nick YOURNICKNAME
6.- Play the fucking game.
If you join a session with people on it, ask if there's any available open spots. If so, type:
/dupe 1
to share the control. I know this is 4chan, but don't be a dick and take control or move other people's units when it's not your turn.

If you're not Colin, Hachi, or a CO with at least +10% attack for them, never.
The medium tank is an antiair that also beats smaller vehicles, so the ideal opportunity for one is if you need to break through a line of infantry and directs, but don't have the spare infantry to bubble-wrap your spearhead - as you would need to for an antiair.
If the enemy has artillery and you don't have the resources to cripple them all at once, the medium tank always loses. In these cases, rockets are the better tech-up unit.

Other than the logistical strength everyone else is going on about, his CO powers have great tactical and strategic value too.
The units come out immediately capable of moving and attacking which can result in a lot of damage suddenly.
In addition, they can spawn very close to the front line and in great numbers. If the bases are far back, then the sudden addition of a large number of mechs can tip the balance of a battle very quickly as enemy reinforcements can take time to arrive.

But don't merge/sell those infantry unless you really have to for a big purchase. Endless infantry meatshields are way more valuable than a few bucks. On balanced maps, he can use infantry to push his artillery/tanks forwards whenever he wants. Weaker COs can't break through the spam even with their supers. On maps that weren't balanced with Sensei in mind, he can literally produce infantry faster than the opponent can kill them.
