Honestly aside from the purple hair'd girl's face it looks alright for an anime styled JRPG. The clothing detail is surprisingly high.
That being said I haven't actually seen the game in motion so I worry that the animations will all look terrible and shitty like so many 7th gen JRPGs.

Did I screw up? If so how bad? I got Last Hope first because I'd read somewhere that it was chronologically the first for the series. Gameplay was Tales like and the trailer seemed ok. By the time I got to America I just had to quit. Dungeons were god awful, the locations were gigantic but full of nothing and the humor made me visibly cringe. The art style is alright but the awkward mocap that plagues jap games make by brain hurt.
I cannot bring myself to play any more and I wish I got it from gamestop so I could just return it for a full refund because I did not play for more than a week.

It's too reliant on you going out and farming duplication materials over and over again. Which I guess isn't as painful on ps3, but on 360 you had to swap discs like 3 times just to go to where you can get the materials and another 3 times to get back to the ship
