Training boils down to Pawn's knowledge. As long as you keep their inclinations in check, they will perform decently.

I'd say Strider. You get fast melee, ranged attacks and tons of mobility, including good damage by climbing monsters.
The game really is about trying a little bit of everything, though, so change it up as soon as you can and go back to it if you miss it.

I cannot even imagine it. Every time I used it, I put 2 or 3 cannons together and spammed Compass Slash, so it would turn into a slideshow of enemies getting rekt.

Considering Skeleton enemies use the same frame as human enemies, it might be possible to replace Pawn models with Skeletons and at least pretend. Depends how much modding you can do.
Only problem is that you might transform all pawns into skeletons and then the Pawn Guild gets way spookier.
Then you can just roll around as a Sorcerer with Exequy, Dark Skulls, using Lightning to whip your servants to do your bidding.
DD is the only game I'm looking forward to. No interest in any more upcoming vidya games right now and a lot of the ones I bought earlier this year ended up being trash
