Very few people actually *want* to become video game journalists. Nobody wastes years of their lives and thousands of dollars getting a journalism degree so they can write for Kotaku. Vidya journalism is where the rejects go. The rejects who happen to have a gentle understanding of vidya (and sometimes that isn't even true).
As shitty as real news reporting is these days, your average video game journalist isn't nearly skilled or intelligent enough to report on things that actually matter. Vidya journalist constantly write pieces loosely related to vidya because they are desperately attempting to escape to the real world which won't have them.
Most of them have complete contempt for the subject they are supposed to be writing about. Being a video game journalist is the equivalent of wanting to be a 1337 SWAT operator and only being able to get hired as a mall cop.

I've realized that, sometimes judging a person by their looks is right - based on their appearance you can sometimes learn hints to who they are. From something as obvious as wearing a cross or sagged pants to something a bit more subtle like clean shoes and fitting jeans. That doesn't mean you're always right - I certainly don't dress like a guy who actively listens to death metal. So like words, appearances too can be deceiving.

What they described isn't really role-playing, it's just a long thought-out backstory. In fact, based on their character description they should realize how shitty Fallout 4 is as an RPG. "What son?" they want to ignore and avoid that aspect of the character's story, but the game doesn't allow you to. In many conversations you're FORCED into caring, you're railroaded into asking people for help to find your son, sharing your dramatic story and woes.
Piper in particular, will interview you, and you won't be able to continue with the conversation until you tell her about your son. So I'm confused as to how this guy had a "great time role-playing" in Fallout 4

I am mostly prejudice against natives. They are more preachy, bitchy and usually smell like shit more then anyone else from what I have seen. I have some native friends though mostly because I know the whole of a group can't be judged by the bad apples. So when I meet a native, I put my prejudice to the side and treat them like anyone else. Our thoughts and stereotypes are built off of observations and our brain tries to protect us. So after being mugged at night by these two niggas I now don't walk at night and if I do I avoid groups.
