My favourite is called: Repi Tuiku (English title: Repeat Week)
Dating sim with a twist. Starts on the Wednesday morning where the protagonist is woken up by a phone call which says he’ll die in a week. Every Tuesday evening, a final destination style inevitable death occurs, followed by the protagonist waking up again on the Wednesday morning. The dialogue and initial scenes alter drastically the first few times but eventually settle into a rhythm because of the protagonist accepting reality.
Wake up on Wednesday. Death occurs on the following Tuesday evening. Repeat.
W/T/F for getting to know the various characters at school and potentially setting up a date on the weekend (choices lead to which girl), date occurs on S/S (potential extra choices to get good or bad ending), M involves dealing with the relationship at school and T is spent remembering and worrying about imminent death, or potentially trying to ignore the inevitable and enjoying the last moments as they come..
The one playthrough repeats the same week over and over until the ‘true end’ has been found.
The ‘true end’ comes not from getting laid but from setting up male friend with his crush.
Discovering unique details about people allows you to uncover routes where you act upon those details. The first playthrough has very few choices, but more open up as you go.

Trying to go to the concert after she declines anyway and then attempting to jump the fence leads to accidentally breaking your spine and waiting out for death in a hospital.
Blonde ‘queen bee’ is won over by having bets with her including beating up your friend. Things start getting sadistic and insane, and if/when you back out she leaves you.
Friend’s crush is polite, witty and light-hearted raven-haired girl. You get the option to try to ‘steal her from him’. She appears in the background of a beach scene in someone else’s route and if you comment on her it unlocks being able to ask her out on the beach the next time around.
Epically flunking at attracting anyone leads to various pervert routes where you spy on various characters, and that actually unlocks new routes too. Getting the true end requires some variation on one of the ‘pervert’ routes where you construct a series of coincidences that cause your friend and raven to fall for each other.
Shy and diminutive tall girl who’s self-conscious about her height, which QB+twins also makes fun of. She’s a bookworm. You find her in the library, yadayada.

There are common routes for Alisa, Ulyana, Slavya, Lena, and one where you stay a loner. You need to get the good ending of any one of those to unlock the choice that leads to Miku's ending, in which a whole series of insane events happen.
You need to get every good ending before you can unlock both of the true final endings (catgirl ending and harem ending) which each wrap up the entire plot into two different cohesive narratives.
The common route ends after day five, or earlier for Miku's ending.
Start new playthroughs from the very beginning, because the branching paths system is accumulative rather than discrete. Slavya's good ending is pretty cool - I just wish Semyon wasn't such a boring and pretentious twat.

In many respects, it really becomes a VN about playing a VN. (The 'harem' ending has no sex scenes, btw. It merely wraps up the story in a different way.) I think they're worth playing through, but if you're just after a romance with plenty of lewd sex scenes, I wouldn't really bother with Everlasting Summer at all. At best the sex scenes are effectively a slideshow presentation of 3-4 pictures, and occasionally a dialogue with them afterwards while they're still topless, and Semyon never stops being awkward.
Both the bus ride in Yulia's ending and Lena and Ulyana in Miku's ending managed to scare me. Then again I was playing the game while drunk at like 2am and with no foreknowledge, so YMMV.
Ulyana's ending is shit, Lena's is boring. Slavya's and Alisa's are both decent imho.
The main problem is that Semyon has the social awareness of a potato. He does monologue about random crap too often, but holding space to skip those worked fine for me. His tendency to respond to questions with questions is mildly irritating too.

There's a horror VN called Vlad the Impaler.
It's incredibly rough around the edges (some events are clearly meant to be linked to one another, but you can do them even if you haven't done the one before it), but the artwork and music are great and the story itself is serviceable. I recommend it if you can get it during a sale.
