BC2 in AU will still get a few good servers worth of players in rush/conquest, squad modes seem pretty extinct aside from player stacks.
Never played Vietnam, but you can redeem the steam key for BC2 on Origin and get the digital deluxe edition using it (Vietnam + hats), so don't buy Vietnam on steam. I may be wrong now, but it worked for me, I just never installed a second copy of BC2 to find out.

Original Metro 2033 is better than Redux. Redux looks better but a lot of the features I liked personally (having to check the watch manually, the weapon modification system, et al) were removed for casualization. If you don't care then go for it but I prefer the original.
