The only difference between that and this is that this is the only time an artist has been kept for more than one continuity. It would not have been possible to do this in the past, but historically they have very much been lazier.

Its a cosmetic effect. There are E rank weapons in each weapon class that strip an enemy when you have Weapon Triange Advantage. The weapons themselves are actually halfway decent as they make it so you only need 2 speed over the target to double so forging them if you can is a good idea.
