I recently finished Fallout 1 which I enjoyed, Mariposa Military Base excluded, and I've just started on Fallout 2. However, I find F2 game be extremely difficult at times. Like random encounters when travelling between cities; being attacked by 7 raiders all with smgs and shotguns while all you have is the 10mm pistol never ends well. Most of the time I just savescum until I can traverse the wasteland without a single encounter; every single time I face an encounter I get killed. Is it supposed to be this hard or am I missing something?
