It was never meant to be a tank or dps on the fly talent, it was supposed to be a full on damage dealing class that did damage exclusively with 1h weapons and shields. That was the mistake they made, people thought that it was like the old bear/cat where you could bounce between either one at will. This game seriously needs a melee spec that uses a 1h and a shield, I dont give a shit if its warrior, paladin, or if they find some way for shaman to do it.

Not in the same sense as Vanilla. MoP changed the talents so that many of them are shared between all specs, but some are spec-exclusive. Legion is also adding spec-exclusive PvP abilities.

Still in a closed beta, and I'm part of it. It's kind of rough with all the BRs spamming shit and fighting with the people who want them gone. The problem is the BRs, so just fix it and be done with it. Otherwise, it's unbearably grindy right now. Worse than Ragnarok Online at endgame levels.
