Apart from the 2 hours of exposition at the start of the game, when it opens up it gets really good. Like I would say this is better than explorers of sky.
It's for the most part the same gameplay which hasn't changed since rescue team though it is a lot better in that when you hold the L button you can choose any of your attacks instantly rather than having to open the menu each time you need to choose a move. Hunger is still in the game and it's definitely the most difficult mystery dungeon yet though it still is a kids game.

There is lots of DLC in Gates to Infinity. But the DLC was mainly so that you could get the other starter Pokemon which you didn't choose more easy, and dungeons with items which are hard to get without DLC (a Thunderstone for example), and dungeons where you get easy money.

I worked at a coffee shop in a predominately white town. Remakes are way, way better than the original games for lots of reasons. EO1 had some bugged abilities that didn't work, and it was so hard that if you didn't exploit the fact they made immunize reduce 90% of physical damage it was almost impossible to beat it.
In EO2 they removed immunize, but the game was STILL hard as balls, the best way to win was to spam force skills like mad. Also FOEs gave literally no experience, so you were underleveled all the game.
EO3 doesn't have a remake, but it's my personal favourite of the series with U2.

Untold 1 has a kinda shitty story mode and if anybody tells you that they know how the fuck Grimoire Stones work they're lying out of their ass. Ricky a cute though and it fixes a ton of issues with the original while also allowing you to play the "classic" mode.
Untold 2 basically fixed all the problems with Untold 1, made Grimoires make sense, and has an actually fun story mode with a better loli.

Mudkip or Turtwig are generally accepted to be the best partners for Charmander. They cover weaknesses and when you evolve them they get access to STAB earthquake to clear rooms while your flying charaizard is safe from collateral damage.
