Wow, I don't think I could possibly disagree with you any more. Firing a laser pistol with no recoil, no bullet drop, instant bullet hit, and a dozen other differences is way different from, let's say, a revolver. Hell, in real life, pistols and rifles would be completely different skills.

I've been playing it on PS4 and the buggiest thing I've seen is a Super Mutant stuck sleeping. I kept shooting him with Lorenzo's Artifact Gun and he went flying over buildings.

You need to take specific perks if you want to do certain things (like 6 charisma and 6 intelligence and 2 points in each of those level 6 perks and 2 for Barter perk just to make the settlement thing useful)

I played it for around 40 hours or so and didn't really run into any bugs except the OPs one time. I'd say it's the least buggy bethesda game yet. Skyrim had an assload more bugs.
