You know how Sindel killed most of the good guys in the MK9 reboot story? Originally, Sheeva prevented this by betraying Shao Kahn, killing Motaro, and allowing Kitana and Jade to save Sindel (because it was Sheeva's job to protect possessed Sindel). For her betrayal, Shao Kahn killed her, but ultimately, her betrayal led to his defeat.
But now in the reboot? She's officially queen of the Shokan. While Goro was off getting all four of his arms ripped off like a kek, Sheeva took the throne and managed to partake in an event in which various warriors were driven into a blood rage. Sheeva managed to fend off a blood raged Johnny Cage and Sonya at the same time, until the spell wore off. Kintaro, sadly, was killed attempted to fend off Cassie and Jacqui.
