He didn't. They removed some of his moves and replaced them with moved copied from the 012 newcomers, because I guess they really wanted him to have Ragnarok Blade and other shit moves so Laguna wouldn't be the only completely worthless character in the game.

There will never something like that, Kain became instantly associated with the Dragoon Class, Kain is definitely coming in one of the future updates.

Some renditions of the White Mage has Wind and Light offensive spells.
Warrior of Light is not exactly the Warrior given a design either, he is a mix of abilties from FFI.

Amano didn't actually design Celes, Nomura did
Nomura designed the ingame designs for all the FF6 characters, Amano only did his own abstract artwork of the characters after Nomura had already designed them
Nomura also designed Gilgamesh, ExDeath, Kefka and pretty much every monster, boss and summon in FF5 and 6
That is why the Amano designs look different to the ingame ones
In fact same deal with FF1-5 with Kazuko Shibuya and Koichi Ishii being the ones who designed Black Mage, White Mage, Warrior, Thief, Red Mage, Monk, and the FF2-5 characters, then Amano only did his own artwork of those characters later on and they used those Amano designs as promo art, which is why his designs became associated with those games, and effectively they started using them as the "official" designs even though they didn't show up ingame
Amanos FF designs only became well known as FF things because they used them as promo art for the older FFs
The only thing that Amano designed that actually showed up in game were the FF1, 2, 3 and 4 monster designs he did.

Not really, it feels like they just went with beams of light because he's the Warrior of Light, not because of the white mage spells. He does have a few magic attacks but they're called "white/red/blue fang", which implies he uses items and not actual black magic. Other than that he's just a full blown warrior, which is why they gave him the FF1 warrior outfit as an alt.

There's no way this Dissidia won't be overrun with clones, 50+ intended characters by Team Ninja (Koei-Tecmo the clone master) without EX Bursts to give the characters at least one different ability.
Many FF share classes, Ridya, Yuna, Garnet could potentialy be the same.

I agree that some characters sound like they would be too similar to others (Celes and Terra for instance) but there are a fuckload of characters in the franchise. Besides, they had no issues giving Tifa and Prishe different gimmicks even though they both fight with their fists.
