That problem kind of fixed itself. I've been getting busier and busier as time goes on and I'm unable to devote time to games like I used to. I remember starting new games and sighing at how many quests there were to do, knowing how many weeks it was going to take. Seemed like a chore.
Turned back to fighting games. Most are free on fightcade and I can see progression. Devoting a little time every night or so to playing, improving, and having fun. It's filled that void and saved a lot of money over time since I'm no longer buying $80 then shelling out another $40 for the DLC season's pass and then the additional DLC that isn't covered by the pass. I'm just enjoying games again.
