It's even more likely when they literally bought the property from others and want to do their own thing with it 10 years later. The real issue is that if they're going to do it, they should have just done a real reboot instead of actually naming their first title Fallout 3.

Honestly the bartering is one of my favorite elements of the new Fallout games (don't ask me why) and I've not had an issue keeping big ammo stockpiles so far. It's like they give you all the .38 rounds specifically to trade them for anything else.

For armored enemies I have my 45 combat rifle. For Long range and high level enemies I have a lazer sniper rifle that deals a shit ton of damage. The AI in the game is really bad. You also get into a lot of scenarios in which they crafted a little arena where the "boss" very clearly doesn't know what to do.

If you fight Swan you can just walk around the fence a few times and he loses his shit. If you fight the Deathclaw in the witch museum and you can stand in any doorway and he doesn't acknowledge you. Even the Mirelurk queen won't attack you if you stand inside the radio tower.

I went into that part fairly early in the game. I ran out of the castle back into town and used the buildings as cover for her acid spit. I poked my head out and kept throwing frag grenades at it every now and then and after a long battle (and a shitload of those little spawn things holy fuck) I won.
Then I had a bit of a crisis because I used up all my ammo and stimpacks on that and I had to make do with shitty guns.
