The creature designs are very cool looking. Especially an improvement to the mirelurks of 3 and NV, they look more like crustaceans now than humanoid creatures. I think when you shoot their shells with bullets they make the sound of bullets plinking which is also neat. I'd say the creature modeller is probably the best guy on their team because of how legitimately terrifying some of them look. Hats off to them. Rest of the game though? Redesigned, tougher, smarter enemies with sometimes pretty funny banter. Got my ass handed to me after underestimating hordes of feral ghouls and protectrons.
Some areas are pretty cool, though a good chunk of it reminds me of DC in Fallout 3. Glowing Sea is particularly effective.
Crafting system is finally worth a shit and can make bad weapons viable and junk worth picking up.
All the SPECIAL stats finally have worth so there's no reason to dump one or max out another.
Companions finally have personality beyond "i want to shoot this faction but don't shoot this faction" and actually give a shit about what you're doing. You can usually fine one companion (out of 13 or so) that jives with how you want to playalthough nearly all of the companion perks suckor just take Dogmeat and give no shits.
It's still missing some things that made NV good, like faction armor and reputations off the top of my head, but it's good, man.

1. Combat feels fucking poor as fuck better then FO3/NV but without a good character building system. Every fucking upgrade is some % shit and i don't even feel like i'm playing a RPG

3. When i approach someone i can talk to first i have to click on them they get up and then i have to click on them again someones even more to initiate dialogue and lastly
4. The Mass Effect Dialogue shit is worse then ever. Because of the short responses and lack of a skill system for most of them i honestly feel like i'm shooting in the darkness half the time instead of having logical responses i can carefully pick between.

They could have had the entry to the vault have blast doors like the Repconn Test Site. The game could have forced you to stand to the side, and as the doors were closing, the bombs went off. You wouldn't see them because the closing blast doors shielded you, but all the people in the middle who weren't shielded from the direct light from the bomb would get cooked in front of your eyes.
