Fucksakes, they got lost in that facility with the first glow head monster encounter and ended up going the opposite way when they realized they had to exit the area.
Their spatial awareness is generally pretty lacking, although that can possibly be blamed on the fact that they aren't 100% mentally invested into what is going on, but it happens way too often to be a valid excuse. Also, not shutting up during important reveals or details doesn't help either.

Since Pat's the only one I think I've ever liked I'm going to say that he probably just doesn't want to play games as much as he used to. I've never seen someone honestly play game after game after game and make videos of it without losing the ability to care about what's going on in the game anymore. You know what the most offensive thing about Plague's comment is? He's wrong about the "terrified of dead air" thing. Back with Silent Hill 2, they would get dead silent during the cutscenes as though they're expecting the audience to have their ears glued to every syllable coming out of a character's mouth. They gave that game so much dead air it's insane.
