Wildstar does have more complex markers. Fun fact, 1.0, the alpha and first two betas of ARR didn't have any markers. It wasn't until after Wildstar released its Telegraphs trailer that they coincidentally added markers to the third beta and they were simple boring red circles, until they added the flashing to help color blind players some patches later.
2.1 added slightly more elaborate shapes but they're still pretty average and they haven't really built upon it at all.

The only thing it had going for it was the story.
10 levels, 7 new dungeons, 2 new primals and 4 boring "raids"; 2 extreme versions of a primal with a few new moves and a 1:1 copied raid but with increased HP and enrage timers not mentioning the abundance of recycled content in those listed.
HW was not worth 40dollars and it was arguably 2patches worth of content sold as an expansion. It's not a meme, it legitimately burned a lot of the community because they hyped it up to be something far better than what it was and left the community out to dry for 5months before the next content patch compared to the usual two and a half to three.
Also au ra are shit and the way they handled them/their faces is atrocious. There's only one usable face per gender because they all look like they got downsyndrome and they wont ever give a non humanoid race.

A lot of it has to do with Japan.
They make most content for Japanese players, since they live ontop of the servers mudra lag was never a thing for them. This is the reason why the EU/US servers need to put up with rampant gold spam where as the japanese don't have to deal with any of that shit.
It also doesn't help SE got bargain bin hosting in Montreal Canada from a server provider known for latency issues.

There are fucking entrances everywhere in the housing areas to other places, fucking use them.
There are also plenty of unused server resources for shit like Inns which are really only sporadically used, use that fucking server space for those instanced houses. Use the same fucking resources already allocated for private FC rooms, make it so if you have a private instanced house you can't have a private room and vice versa, there problem fucking solved.

You don't have to do the coils at all. Which is good because finding people who would be willing to take the time to teach you the fights, even with the party set to undersized, would be pretty fucking hard.
That said you can do Coil 1, 2 and 4 with three people, 5-9 with four, and final coil with six to be safe.
