There are multiple points where they have the miscellaneous droids/clones stand around and do nothing, while they wait to be killed by the main characters. Stupid.

Last time I checked, vehicles parked back at base were always been snagged by the player who could sprint at them the fastest, waiting for them to respawn with a big ass queue. Look at Jets in Battlefield. By having the vehicles strewn semi-randomly across the battlefield as call-ins, you keep things focused.

Not every game has to give you the option to do everything just because you want to. The smaller but focused combat in Battlefront is preferable to the massive maps that are more empty/unfocused. Compare the downtime in a 64/64 map in BF4 to Battlefront.

Literally what? Sheev started everything. Sheev was the Sith lord who ruled the galaxy. Vader didn't start the fire. He was just the muscle and second in command but he didn't pull any strings or make any administrative decisions. In fact in Disney's own new canon Sheev constantly mocks and belittles Vader and treats him like a disappointed father with barely constrained disgust between them.
