I haven't seen Cow and Chicken in years, but there was an episode where the Red Guy sets up some rigged game, I think a sport or something (football?) and he sets up a river of lava as a trap.
He's foiled when he's pushed in by one of the characters only to be unscathed and realizing that the lava actually feels good.
Even though the red guy was Satan in the piliot episode (if I remember Chicken goes to hell for smoking) they had to tone it down because asshurt Christians, so while the red guy was used as a villain the main characters never remember (like Rancid Rabbit in Catdog) they still make subtle pokes that he's the devil even though he doesn't realize it.
