TTYD has an issue where the first time you play through the chapters they seem fun and endearing as fuck but then you replay the game and holy SHIT does the dialogue lose its charm when you're just waiting for everyone to shut the fuck up so you can play the game. Glitch Pitz went from my favorite chapter to one of my bottom three after I beat the game twice. Speaking purely about chapter design, even Paper Mario is more fun to play through multiple times.
Doesn't emulate well either, since I got a bug where Raiden gets stuck in place doing the same u-turn swimming animation over and over. Had to use a savestate every minute to get past this part.

TTYD is a good game but it's vastly overrated and there's way too many "oh yeah THAT part" moments.
Anything after the Elite 4 just feels boring and I don't like restarting games.

Phantasy Star 1 is an extremely fun old school RPG.
The first hour and a half is a MANDATORY money grind. It's terribly unfun and makes going on the adventure tedious. Keeping a savestate for right when you get Myau is the only decent way to replay it.

Yeah fuck that, you had to explore like the whole God-damned map, including in places only sly was designed to go. Plus Bentley wasn't designed for combat which made fighting/escaping a shit. I think I would always enter the cheat codes to go to different chapters because I ducking hated the spider woman levels.
