Back in July this year Techland has announced the first expansion called Dying Light: The Following. At that time, the exact release date was not known, and it still isn’t...

Seems like the expansion is going to get rid of alot of the fun parts of the original. Vehicles getting a big priority, rural meaning less parkour areas. Empty farm fields to punish people not wanting to sit in vehicles.
Finnaly some great news
Will guns finally be useful?
Got boring using the same fucking melee weapon for a majority of the game, only to finally, after a few hours, scavenge enough ammo to effectively use that Rifle you found in that insane, hard to get to area, only to find out the Rifle is fucking useless. And that by the time you get to the second map, you'll already be one shotting those night time zombies with a fucking wrench. And Swords are dropping like flies
But I'm not gonna pay no more. I did enjoy the game I really did but stuff like this should be in from the start. Fuck paid dlc.
To keep it fully alive (as UN original as it sounds) something like tdm and capture the flag could have been really fun with melee weapons.

Rifle is god tier, what are you talking about? Headshots fuck humans and zombies with the range bonus.
The problem is guns are just so fucking boring to use so its not fun.
I know they are making stealth more viable, and making stealth vs humans/bandits a thing. Like there will be towns in the rural shit with bandits, and you can stealth them with bow/crossbow.

But you find a shit load of guns towards the end they're just not as fun Tbh. I think after half way they're obsolete. I know what ya saying but if guns where the best part of the game surely l4d covers that?

Mah brother.

>a whole new area, big gameplay mechanics like vehicles should have been in the game from the start, because I said so
I agree about the weapons like crossbow from that other DLC, but the game came out 8 months ago and this DLC is slated early next year. This one new area is the size of the other two maps together aswell. Small shit like Hard Mode should have been in from the start too, but that was added free later anyways. This "expansion" seems justified from a content view point.

Will Techland stop overusing motion blur?

Nope, same for CA. There was a mod that removed CA and film grain though, and they added the ability to remove film grain in the options atleast. No CA on/off is annoying though.
