Demons Souls came first but it's not as godlike as Dark Souls IMO

DaS2 is bad. Dark Souls is best on PC. It runs on toasters.

I have a love/hate relationship with DkS2.
I love it for what it is but hate it for what it could have been. It's not a bad game on it's own but it didn't live up to the expectations that Dark Souls gave me.

It's an independent installation. Dark Souls is a spiritual successor to it. Different world but it has the same feel as any other Souls game.

Played Dark Souls for about an hour. Couldn't get into it. It's not so much the difficulty I didn't like as it was the slow clunky pacing. You literally had to inch bit by bit through the game, carefully watching left and right for sudden attacks or arrows out of nowhere.

It was like playing a shooter in that regard. I can't get rid of that paranoia.
