Dante may be durable as hell, but Goku's no slouch either. Most blades can't even cut him, though concentrated lasers can pierce him. Dante's stong as hell, but he's just not the planet buster Goku is, and Goku's so much beyond that. Goku's much faster, stronger, and has a lot more destructive power. Goku could not only catch his bullets, and even if Dante could cut him, Goku's too fast to be hit. If Goku really wanted to, he could obliterate the planet, and Dante along with it. But really, they'd get along pretty well.
