Game would give you a selection of abilities to choose from everytime you level up, but you could only choose one of those abilities each time. You also wouldn't be able to choose abilities you didn't take when they were offered. If it's like it was in early alpha builds, your character would start at level 0 always. I'd assume the game would be monster hunter-esque with hub and missions. But I dunno, don't have any real source info, just presumptions,
