I read a review of this game like 15 years ago, but I never got to play it.
How is it?
>>
>>288960080
This game always pops up in threads like these.
>>
>>288957727
Weird, I'd think it'd be a Nintendo game with a name like that.
>>
>>288960080
This fucking game. Two of my old friends owned it back in the day. I spent 5 years trying to find it, with no luck. And then, two copies popped on two different locations, on consecutive days.
>>
>>288957727
Is this the game where you have to help a herd of sheep navigate through the levels where they can easily die or something?
>>
>>288961342
That's the one. I had one of those weird flash back dreams and this is what u saw.

>300: March to Glory / Untold Legends
> Gates of Troy / Pax Romana / Ice Age 2
> The Settlers 3 / Alexander: The Heroes Hour / Anubis 2

Here in Italy they are mostly unheard of, and on Youtube there is little to no content about these games. Literally games that have fallen into the void.

You wouldn't be completely wrong since I've occasionally looked up "ancient porn" or similar terms to see if there was anything with curvy-but-not-fat women wearing transparent linen clothing.Thank goodness I found Belladonna's clip where she fucks an archeologist as an egyptian princess, hot as fuck.Really though, help me an hero, anon. Put an end to my misery.

With that being said, I've always been a sucker for history and the civilizations of the classical era or just the ancient times in general. No big surprise that most of my old and current games run along that same theme.

>>288966262
Loved that game but I couldn't just swallow my bitterness when some obvious flaws turned up. Some laggy levels like the one of the first encounter with the immortals, plus dialogues were badly timed, almost 3 or 4 seconds of wait between a character's script and the other's, even when the first one is interrupted.
I'd bring it back to the store but it's been more than five years ago. Even if I sold it back to them it still wouldn't be worth it to get shilled by Gamestop.

I'd add some of those 8-bit games for the old consoles to the list of games only I have played, but most cartridges have lost their cover with the title and I don't remember most of their names. And I'm sure Contra and Tank were pretty "famous" back in their time so I doubt I've been "the only one" or "one of the few".
Not to mention that this isn't /vr/.

If you notice in some levels, the sarcophagi have dicks. I kek'd a lot when I saw that.
>Have Shadow of Rome because Capcom's dick tastes pretty good.
I value that game like a templar values the holy grail
>Everything else is new. Or might not be
If you want to smash through hordes (literally, just look up some videos) of legionaries and you still own a ps2, go look for Spartan: Total Warrior. I got it from ebay and lucky me the vendor was in my same town. 5 bucks spent well.
I also had The Simpsons: Hit And Run, but I gave it to a cousin long ago.

>>288967632
Indeed you're right. I own God of War 1 and 2 + the psp games and I can honestly say that Spartan TW is a lot more satisfying, even though "less" gory than GoW for my taste.

>That hilariously bad dialogue
>That hilariously bad gorilla fight
>Those fucking man-headed dog things
>The sexy lizards with cleavage
>The rock throwing.
>Limited ammo
>foggy, cold island
>back tracking
>shitty aiming controls that are actually fairly shitty, but mostly because enemies rush you when you have to delicately steady your aim.
6/10
very unpolished gameplay like a PS1 title and graphics that look like 6th gen. execution is fine, but level design and backtracking ala Ghosts n' Goblin's killed it.
This game tends to favor competent gamers, and I swear half the videos I've seen have people play on DSP's level.

I played this shit with my brother when we were younger. We even found some sick hidden shit for extra lives, and I've looked to see if anyone's ever posted about it on the internet. As far as we know, the only ones who know about the secret are us and the development team.
>>
>>288969473
My biggest complaints were
>framerate issues despite good graphical quality in some areas (shadows, water, ejected shells)
>the enemies in the prison (penultimate level) are fucking atrocious with perfect aim and gluing themselves to your ass and draining your health.
>game actually froze near the end twice during the junk boss
>The robot level was horrible; like a tank segment with low health and restrictive aiming controls in tight corridors you have to wonder to without a guide or a clue where to go
>>288969695

Also anyone ever heard of "Rise and Fall: Civilizations at War"? Pretty old game, the guys who made it have long since closed their shack, so you either find it as a torrent or get a friend to give it to you. I'd say it's a pretty good opinion, but I have shit taste with games sometimes so you'll have to make judgements for yourself.
