I'm partial to the second dungeon in RR, the "time attack" tower if you will. Took me a few tries but it was fun as fuck, one of the few non-platforming parts of Shantae I found difficult.
As for locale, I really enjoyed the "descent to the underworld" where you meet Rotty's past self.

Pirate's Curse has a speedrun mode that is pretty active on the Miiverse, no real mysteries left in that one.
