What are you talking about? I was farming for the set yesterday on scholars of prepare to die patch. They respawned for about 12 times before disappearing.

Is it better than DaS1? Probably not.
Is it a good game and worth playing? Yes.
It's a bad sequel, but a great game. They also patched most of the bullshit at this point. The game was pretty broken for the first months.

They went full WoW mode and made shoulder pads bigger than your head

There's a ring now that prevents you from gaining any souls at all. Webm related, how to get it at ~30k SM. That's about the minimum if you really try, but without trying you can get it at 50k easily.

Earthen Peak was supposed to lead to the Catacombs2. The area between Harvest Valley and Iron Keep was scrapped (you can see it in the trailer). There was supposed to be some kind of desert, which was also scrapped.
