Am I the only one that LIKES buying old games for cheap on the Virtual Console? Why do you guys hate it so much? It's not like they're charging 80's MSRP for them. I think it's nice.

I'd buy a lot more if they offered better games, and at better prices. $5 or 8 for such an old game that I can emulate on my phone just feels like a rip. Charge a buck per game or something and I'd be tempted to buy ten.

I like the Virtual Console, conceptually, but I also pay to see movies so maybe I am some sort of crazy person.
The prices are too high, though. I even think $1-2 off the prices would make it all much more reasonable. Additionally, the selection of games is pretty pathetic; I understand wanting to have weekly releases, but its just not the way digital markets work. Nintendo should perhaps do weekly sales? Even just a dollar off. Like, come on. Finally, not having cross-buy is just terrible- there is no reason I can't play Earthbound on my 3DS.
As I said, conceptually nice, in practice it comes up a bit short in too many key categories to make me a dedicated customer. Most of my VC titles are from Club Nintendo and I like them, though.
