I assume that they're holding most of their big titles out for E3. It's been a while since Retro and Next Level have made a game and the Tokyo team are supposed to be working on a new Mario game (Captain Toad was a relatively small game so that probably won't have slowed down development too much). They're three biggest announced games (Zelda, XCX and Starfox) will also probably get most of their new info released at E3.
If we do get any more directs, it will either be game-specific or some smaller-scale projects.
