Alright I've played and beat Persona 4 and then I played and beat Persona 3 and then I beat SMT: Nocturne and now I'm jumping into Persona 1. Just finished downloading the ROM.
What can I expect?
Play the PSP version nigga. Also try to find the version with the original music. The PS1 localization was hilariously butchered.

The PSP version had new music that didn't fit at all but the game itself was pretty much the same. The PS1 had all kinds of fucked up shit. Rates were weird, an entire route was cut out, the setting was changed to "appeal" to Americans. Also one character became black which is hilarious but still not a very good change.

You are kind of limited on your options there. IS was only released in English on the PSP. EP is only on PS1.
P1 and P2 suck. Just play another SMT or Digital Devil Saga if you want an RPG with party members and not demons.

The concept is nice, but no one enjoys spending half an hour reshuffling their fusion until they get something they like. It's shallow and substitutes bullshit for challenge or fun. It took Persona 4 Golden of all games to get it right, though it gets gameplay wrong in almost every other area.
