Do you guys think that Taro Yoko will ever be able to make another game? I heard a rumor he was working on something, but nothing has been announced.
He hasn't really announced anything because he wants to keep it a secret.
>>284279451
Definitely. He was first in retirement until SE begged for him to come back, then they forced him to work on mobile games because he was trolling too hard in interviews for DoD 3. After SE thought he learned his lesson, they're giving him the chance to work on his own project, but he's keeping it under wraps.
I know he still wants to remake Drakengard and make NieR 2.

More Caim would be pretty great.
Cry On
>>284280535
Cry On is still dead.
>>284280142
Just as long as he doesn't ruin his character with the brand of humor that's been creeping in since NieR. Caim worked because his situation was shit and there was no comedic relief, everything was fucked and played completely straight. Taro said he'd drastically change up Drakengard in a remake so I'm a bit wary.
>>284280617
What a shame. Are you still interested in selling that 10th anniversary edition?
>>284280851
I'm not the guy that had the signed 10th anniversary edition.
>>284280965
fug
>>284280851
Maybe by "change drastically" he means that Caim will beat the shit out of Verdelet during every cutscene and then there will be an ending where he tells Verdelet to fuck off and let the world burn!
>>284281194
Isn't that just retreading Drakengard 2 though?
Managed to get through Drakengard for ending A. Time to get the rest of the endings.
>>284281314
Good luck.
>>284281303
Drakengard 2 without Nowe featuring Caim beating the shit out of Verdelet and not losing track of Manah while dragging her ass from village to village to publicly humiliate her would be pretty great.
>>284281480
I'll probably skip ending E. Already know how that ends and ties into Nier.
>>284281557
Eh, I guess you can if you want.
>>284281194
More like a secret ending where he doesn't bitch out when he sees Furiae.
>>284281557
It's not the same until you've experienced it yourself.
The fact he gets work and other people don;t is why JRPG's are dead.
>>284281831
They're not dead though.
Didn't he want to make a game set in a modern high school setting?
>>284282392
That was one of his original ideas for Drakengard 3, but it was scrapped.
>>284279912
>I know he still wants to remake Drakengard and make NieR 2.

>>284282605
Oh god I remember a few months back we played around with the idea of what a Yoko-verse high school would be like. Principal Angelus was amazing.
>playing a shit series with no good feautures made by a complete talentless hack
lol
>>284285468
That was pretty fun.
>>284285726
Here's your reply.
>>284279912
>remake drakengard
My body cannot be ready
Has he ever written a story that doesn't end in suffering for everyone?
>>284285970
But that's the thing.
>>284285970
I'm not sure. I don't think the Fire of Prometheus has too much suffering, except for P-33 trying to figure out what the "Beepy" scratched into his body meant.
>>284286167
>Fire of Prometheus
the most anti-climatic short story i have ever read.
>>284280851
even if he added that kind of humor, Caim would be save since he wouldn't make him not mute
>>284285468
>Principal Angelus
go on
>>284280851
I believe he said he'd drastically remake drakengard 1 if square forced him to remake it, since he doesn't like making the same game twice.
>>284286602
I think Caim was the principal and Red was one of the teachers.
By the way, not only is he working on a game, but he's working on a manga as well, called Thou Shalt Not Die.
>>284286954
Is Sawako Natori working on it too? She's essential to making a Taro project great.
>>284287080
Don't think so, I believe he's writing this on his own.
Also, it appears it's he and his wife's wedding aniversary, since Yoko and his wife posted about it alongside a picture.
>>284279912
>Trolling
Can this be found on google?
>>284281816
Preach
I hope his new game goes for the ps4 so we can at least get good fps m-maybe
>>284290379
It probably will, since I remember reading about him being interested in making a game for the PS4.
>>284290379
Honestly, I think that was more Access Games' inexperience with the ps3 more then anything. The Director's Cut of Deadly Premonition had an even worse framerate.
