Oh absolutely not, but that doesn't take away from the fact that there are some moments where taking damage is seemingly unavoidable, so on hard mode it can be somewhat of a chore to play through it without getting at least a few game overs. But that's how a game SHOULD be. If you beat a whole game without getting a game over, then chances are they tried too hard at coddling you.
