I tried beating Matador on hard at level 16 with all the buffs and debuffs available to me. Only Nozuchi had a zan null at that level. Shit still wasn't debuff since he'd clean any debuffs on him and wipe out everything with his physical skill.
Finally said fuck it and grinded for 2 levels for the zan repelling demons on top using all of my macca to but the force nullifying magatama. Then I steam rolled him.
I thought I would stabilize after that, but even the random encounters come off as tedious.

I beat him at level 14-15 then had trouble with thor, where I then grinded to level 18 for that guy with no arms that had elec absorb/resist I forget which.
