Melee attacks that are more than just elbows, knives, or generic gun bashes in shooting games.
Don't give a fuck what anyone says about Resident Evil 4,5,6 and/or Army of Two, but it's so incredibly satisfying to scoop slam a mother fucker into the concrete. Something about throwing a heavy straight punch with Gorrilla Redfield. Something about using Huang Gai's musou in DW7/8 and he picks a faggot up, tosses them like 10 feet in the air, then jumps up and catches them and does a spinning piledriver that buries them in the ground.
"Realistic" stuff is great and I love it. Over the top melee moves are fantastic and it just makes me FEEL good. Anything other than generic knives/bash attacks.
Honorable mentions, Halo Reach back assassinations could be a quick and simple back slap insta kill, or your could hold the melee button down and do a flashy one-hit kill that had a flair like a jumping elbow drop or a backstab and toss. Battlefield 3/4 have the knife from behind assassinations/dog tag rip that just feels good to pull off. And fucking Titanfall, for the massive flop it was, is incredibly satisfying to run up behind some dumb nig and twist his head around.
