There would normally be a somewhat annoying setup process but this pack has taken care of that for you so long as you keep everything in the same folder. Just unzip to a directory and you're done.

PoFV is a two player head-to-head Danmaku dueling game, mostly based off of the mainline Touhou games.
Focusing gives you a scope that can stuff spirits that you can kill to send special projectiles to your opponents side of the screen and gain points for a spell card meter that is used by charging with the shoot button. You can also bomb with the normal bomb button, but it wastes more of the meter.

Also, as Alice what do I do with projectile spammers? I run out of energy before I get to them if I try to graze to get close and melee, and the dolls take too long to try and hit them long-range if they fire fast enough. Cirno's icicles are the worst.

Make sure you got the right version running, sokuroll's running properly, and that you have SWR and Soku connected. Beyond that, it might be on the other person's end. There are also other games than Soku being played here, so you may be trying to connect to IPs playing other games.
