I just had an interesting run with Eve.
I got the bloody penny and the portable blood bank very early on.
Whenever I got hit, I spammed spacebar to make a bunch of coins drop while I was invincible, then picked them up to get back to full health.
Beat the chest with no problem.

I'd accept this reply as a "git gud" one if it weren't for the fact that the flash version of Isaac had some seriously fucking awful layouts that would completely fuck you out of no damage runs no matter what you did.
Relying on a run that doesn't fuck you over and a bunch of items to deal with enemies fast enough is not fun, it's a skill based achievement that requires more luck than skill, that is is not good.

Depths and Necropolis are filled with forced damage rooms because Edmund tested WotL when flight was insanely easy to get and didn't take into account flightless tear runs.
So guys do you explore every room or do you just go to the treasure room and then boss room? Even in the womb?

Dark Boy was insanely difficult to get. Fighting Mom is a LOT harder than fighting Mom's Heart, and Depths/Necropolis are filled with Greed heads, Knights, Masks and other enemies that are harder than everything in the Womb.
It makes sense, since in Womb and beyond you take a whole heart of damage, so it has to be a little easier in order for the player to adjust. But going for no-damage runs, it makes the Womb run objectively easier to get.

Depends on the run I'm doing, and what luck I'm having with drops. Exploring can be really rewarding, since secret rooms have decent loot tables and a chance to drop Epic Fetus. Curse rooms can be pure shit or godsends. Exploration is pretty worth it.
