Sometimes it's not as simple as just grabbing him and tossing him off the stage. What about characters that have slow grabs? What about characters that can't wrest control of center stage from him? What about characters that don't have an answer to his quick super armored Smashes? What about characters that can't punish his dash attack going through your shield fast enough? What about characters with no projectiles? For Glory already gives him the stage advantage, and a smart Mac isn't going to approach someone hanging around the edge and fishing for a gimp. For all you faggots screaming git gud, you don't realize why people are having problems with Mac in the first place. He's fast as fuck in just about every aspect, hits like a truck, has a move that can KO you around 40%, and already has a stage advantage over most characters on a mode that the large majority of online players are playing.

What about ranged attacks? Surely PK Thunder or Peaches turnips can mess him up. Or just play as Ness, jump off the edge and PK Thunder 2 right at him as he's rushing at you. Heck I'm sure you can get him into the air and use Ness's double fair combo he can do with his double jump, and heck you can even get that move in three times before having to return to the ground, if lucky. I'mma probably just practice as Little Mac in training and such and really think about what strategies you could pull off with his moves, and then just sorta imagine what he's gonna be doing and try to counter that. In the end, skills > picking a strong character. You gotta get in practice if you wanna win, but even then I guess it's more about just sitting down and enjoying the game instead of the "YOU WIN" screen at the end of whatever it is you're playing. Once you get past that you can enjoy the game regardless of whether someone picks an OP character, as you start taking notice of the little victories you have as you get better at the game over time.
