The reason for this is right now we have allot of attention which we can use to put pressure on the companies.
Right now we're the ones taking it to their PR, so far Kotaku is panicing with their # and the "not all gamers" article.
Imagine if these companies saw people sharing a simple, yet clear poster that says
"Here are the companies PR, if your fed up of being ignored, alienated and demonized, contact these companies, be civil etc etc..."
That will show the gaming media sites that we aren't fucking around and that 100's of people will be sending their PR's email, it'll be fucking glorious to see them quickly panic and fire the people who made those "Gamers are dead" articles.
