You can't rush Rats, they added a delay to when you need to add the first ingredient and then a delay after you blow it up.
They punish you for grinding the same heist over and over. Some of us enjoy particular heists more than others

Having more guards than pagers on the hard missions just makes stealth non trivial. Makes you actually have to sneak.
Rats can still be rushed easily, I did it just yesterday. You just hold out in the bathroom, easy game.
If you buy the heist contract you don't get the penalty.
I suppose that's a valid concern for some, but really it's not that big a concern for me. Besides, a lot of the future planned DLC is coming out for free with that 1,500,000 community group strechgoal thingie.
Though you have a point with 7 day heists, cloakers, titan cams and safes. But overall, all that isn't really a dealbreaker for me.
