I liked the beta, I was looking to get a PS4 anyway and the white one looks really sexy so I'm buying the bundle. I've got a couple friends to play with too and they all really liked the beta as well so we'll probably have a good time.

If you played Borderlands and you thought "Oh man, this game REALLY needs a worse, and humorless plot and voice acting", that's exactly what Destiny is.
However, the Beta was surprisingly fun. The level design is actually pretty good (Moon in particular is awesome).
It's soulless, uninspired bullshit, but, it's playable. It's Borderlands with PvP and no plot.

Fun, waiting on PC version. I hate borderlands but I liked this mainly because of the space theme and it has nice hit impact I feel when you shoot something. The online roaming component is interesting too since it can have random moments and you need a bit of randomness in games to keep them interesting like roguelikes. The grinding never really felt like grinding to me in this game because I really liked how the shooting feels and the movement of your character. Also I felt that they reward you pretty decently but not over the top with loot every 5 seconds it has a decent balance to it also the little random missions you do in the explore mode are a nice touch since it doesn't always feel like the same thing sometimes. When I reach the level cap in the beta I didn't feel like that was it for some reason some games when you reach the cap you have no motivation to continue on but in this the gear and the gameplay kept me going and I still had fun with it.

I had only played Halo 1 sparlingly coming into Destiny so I had no hype for the game. Played the Beta and had at least 3-5 friends on playing each time and it was a blast. Though I wouldn't even bother playing if I didn't have at least 1 friend online, its that kind of game.
Rare game where I had just as much fun on MP as i did in SP. I already know i'm addicted to this game, but i'm super casual when it comes to RPGs and FPS so this is all relatively a new feel to me.

Anyone who says it's Halolands is somewhat right. The concept is precisely like it but the game feels nothing like it. You actually deal damage to enemies, take a few hits, and get swaggy magic moves.
