Can be fine depending on the game. You don't BRB SMOKE in a shooter or in the middle of DOTA but there's nothing wrong with it if you're in a team/group in an mmo and ask for a short break before the next quest. Or in a game like KF or even DOTA and in a party and ask for a break before next queue.
