We know the hacker changed the name, impersonated the indigogo staff to insult /v/, and posted a youtube video called "You Are An Idiot". The CONTRIBUTE button was still active before they shut the project off entirely.
The hacker updated the page in waves, being very careless (not disabling contributions, leaving one of the donor ranks up, and just doing a bad impersonation of the Indigogo staff.)
We also know the twitter for TFYC was inactive when this went down, and haven't gotten any word from a credible source (TFYC twitter, indigogo team, etc). It also doesn't help that it's 4:00AM EST.
Be patient, and don't jump to any conclusions. Hold true to the cause my friends, and don't take any bait.

It probably was a hack. If it was legitimate, then why would IndieGoGo post no official announcement for their reasoning behind it? Why would they just the cancellation a status update on the fundraiser's page, then delete it before anyone could ask any questions?
This isn't Reddit, these people are an actual business and doing something in such a conceited way would look extremely bad for them.
At this stage, we should not get angry at this, or do anything rash. We need to wait for TFYC to give us an update, or for IndieGoGo to make an official announcement, before we start doing something we'll regret in the long-term. Calm the fuck down and stop enticing mass-hysteria, people.
