It's better on the Vita, I'd say. It runs perfectly and looks gorgeous.
On a PS3 you expect more, like a Yakuza title. I doubt the setting is more detailed than it is on the Vita. On the Vita you're more forgiving of that one jpg behind the nearby storehouse window doors that is clearly taken from the net, whereas on the PS3 you would expect the interior to be fully rendered like the rest of the game is.
It's like the mix between PS2 and PS3, but cell-shaded to look good.

There are 5 endings, each route diverging in the latter quarter.
Basically, it's well worth the price and had a ton of re-playability.
